Operation: How do I replace the rear hatch lock on the Volkswagen Passat?

In order to replace the Volkswagen Passat tailgate lock, you need to remove all the rivets located on the inside of the tailgate on the carpet. Then you will need to remove the plugs located in the side parts and slide them out, in order to completely remove the carpet from the inside of the tailgate. In this way the inside of the lock will be visible and can be removed by loosening its fixing screws and disconnecting its connector. At this point it will be possible to insert a new spare part, connect the lock to the connector and secure it with the relative bolts.

How to replace the Ford Transit key battery

Below I will explain how to replace the remote control key battery on the car, take a small screwdriver and pry the rear part of the remote control, (where there is the ring), at which point unhook the back cover and yes will have access to the compartment containing the battery. Always with the help of the small screwdriver, proceed to make the va and lift the battery out of the housing. Then take the new battery (check the type) and place it on the housing, always making sure to position it with the positive pole facing upwards. Finally, close the back cover by re-hooking it to the key.
