Start by removing the glove box and the radio, which are clipped in, then disconnect the connector. Next, use a flathead screwdriver to remove the cover panel of the climate control controls.

This will expose the screws securing the controls; to access the other screws, loosen the side panels. Proceed to unscrew and remove all these screws.

Once all screws are removed, you can slide out the central structure, and the controls will be free. To completely remove them, simply disconnect the connector located at the rear of the controls, and you will have successfully completed the dismantling.

How to open the bonnet on a Volkswagen Golf?
