To replace the remote control battery on the Volkswagen Tiguan, press the button located at the top so that the key can be lifted. At this point, you can pry inside the key holder to remove the front cover of the key, under which the battery is located. Once the old battery is removed, replace it with a new spare part and close the remote control with the appropriate cover.
