How to Remove the Tailgate Panel of a Volkswagen Touareg

Before you start, open the rear tailgate to gain the necessary space to work. Begin by removing the two covers near the rear lights by simply unclipping them. Next, unscrew the screws that secure the inner panel of the tailgate. Two screws are located in the upper corners of the panel, and the other two screws are positioned in the lower internal handles. Once you have unscrewed and removed these screws, you can unclip the tailgate panel. This completes the successful removal.
