How to Replace the Starter Motor Brushes on the Volkswagen Golf

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf IV, MK 4, Golf 4 - Years 1997-2003

Today, in this video tutorial, you will learn the procedure to remove and replace the starter motor brushes on the Volkswagen Golf. First, remove the starter motor from the engine by unscrewing the fixing screws and disconnecting the power electrical connectors; then unscrew the screws of the starter motor using a Torx screwdriver. At this point, remove the copper coil and unscrew the internal screws to access the brushes; replace these and reassemble everything, following the video to the end!
