In this video, you will learn how to remove the airbag from the Golf 6. To start, you need to remove the part that makes up the centre of the steering wheel, where the airbag is housed. After that, proceed to remove the various pieces of the dashboard until you can access the airbag housing from both the driver's and passenger's sides. It will take some time, but if you carefully follow the disassembly sequence, piece by piece, you can do it. It is very important to keep the various pieces together with their corresponding screws. Once the area of the two airbags is clear, insert the two new pieces and start reassembling everything.
