Threading and Replacement of Cylinder Head Bolts

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

If you need to redo the cylinder head of your engine, it may be worthwhile, in some cases, to also replace the bolts. First, check the size and thread pitch appropriate for the bolts. Once the correct pitch is identified, proceed to thread each of the holes where the cylinder head bolts will be screwed in. At the end of the job, it is advisable to clean thoroughly, blowing away any debris and remnants of the threading with compressed air. Apply thread locking compound to the tips of the bolts and tighten them with the appropriate spanner according to the manufacturer's data and specifications. Car model: Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI
