In this tutorial, you will see how to replace the external wing mirror on a Volkswagen Golf, which requires removing the door panel. First, remove the cover of the handle, then unscrew the two screws underneath and rotate the bolt inside the lower slot 90 degrees counterclockwise. Once done, use a plastic spatula to completely disengage the panel from the door and disconnect the mirror connector. Finally, unscrew the two fixing bolts and remove the mirror. To fit the replacement, follow the reverse procedure.
