How to Reset the Inspection Light on a Volkswagen Up

Model: Volkswagen Up MK 1 - Years 2011-2024

To reset the Inspection light on a Volkswagen Up, press the button located in the centre of the instrument cluster, just below the speedometer. This will allow you to turn the key to switch on the instrument cluster, noting that the INSP light will still be illuminated. Repeat the operation by holding the button while the ignition is off and turning the key to switch on the cluster. Now hold the button for about 20 seconds, then turn off and on the ignition again, checking that the INSP light has been reset.
