How to reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

To reset the Service light on a Volkswagen Polo, press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument panel, just below the rev counter. While holding it, turn the ignition key in the cylinder until the spanner light appears on the display. To make this disappear, release the button on the left side of the instrument panel and then press the 0.0/SET button. This will turn off the light, which you can verify by switching the ignition off and back on.
