Replacement of Front Discs and Pads

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009
Part: Brake rotors

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the front wheel (loosen the bolts before lifting); remove the protective caps and unscrew the bolts securing the brake caliper, use a lever between the pads to slightly retract the piston and complete the removal of the caliper by taking out the old pads and fully retracting the piston with the appropriate tool; then remove the disc retaining bolt, clean the corresponding seat on the hub applying grease and install the new disc; insert the new pads and refit the brake caliper.
