Front Brake Disc and Pad Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009
Part: Brake rotors

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands and remove the front wheels; remove the protective caps from the brake caliper mounting bolts and unscrew them, lever between the disc and the caliper to slightly retract the piston and remove the caliper; unscrew the disc mounting bolt from the hub and take it off; clean the disc seat on the hub and the caliper support with a wire brush and apply grease to prevent oxidation; clean the disc of protective oil and install it on the hub, tightening the corresponding mounting bolt; also clean the caliper mounting bolts, apply the new pads, and refit the caliper; pump the brake pedal until it offers the correct resistance.
