Replacing the Remote Battery on a Volkswagen Tiguan

To replace the battery in the remote for the Volkswagen Tiguan, follow these steps: Take a kitchen knife and pry open the right side of the remote (the side with the "W" logo), lift and remove the plastic cover under which the battery is located. Identify the battery model (CR 2025) and extract it using a small tool. Take the new battery and place it in the holder, ensuring the correct orientation (positive terminal facing up). Finally, reposition the plastic cover and secure it by pressing down with your fingers.
