Replacing the Radio in the Volkswagen Golf 7

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf VII, MK 7, Golf 7 - Years 2012-2019

To replace the radio in the Golf 7, proceed as follows: detach the climate control panel by levering from the bottom, then detach the multimedia display panel (which also includes the air vents). Using the appropriate extraction tools, insert them into the slots at the top of the display and pull towards you to extract the radio. Locate the two connection terminals at the back of the radio and disconnect them. Take the new radio and reconnect the two power terminals. Reinsert the radio into the slot and finally refit the radio panel followed by the climate control panel.
