Replacing the Radio in a Volkswagen Golf

Do you need to replace the radio in a Volkswagen Golf? Here's how to proceed. Turn off the radio, remove the trim using a lever, then use a screwdriver to remove the car stereo. Unscrew the securing screws on either side of the stereo; pull the stereo towards you as shown in the video and extract the radio, being careful of the various wiring (disconnect the power connectors and the antenna cable). Refit the original radio or a generic brand with the appropriate adapter. Use an adapter to install a non-original stereo.
