Operation: Removing the starter motor

To disassemble the starter motor we must first unplug the cables and remove the battery. Later we also disassemble the battery compartment. Unscrew the nut and disconnect the negative cable that goes from the battery to the motor solenoid. Now we release the clip and disconnect the other cable as well. In order to work better, let's make some space by moving the surrounding cables in some way. We only partially loosen and unscrew the upper fixing nut. To work more comfortably, we can lift the car, always respecting the safety regulations. At the bottom we must first unscrew the support of the power steering tube. Now we can unscrew the motor fixing nut. At this point all that remains is to remove the upper nut and extract the starter motor. How to set the time on the Peugeot 308
