Volkswagen Polo - Video tutorial

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK 6, AW1, Polo VI, MK VI, Polo 6 - Years 2017-2024
Part: Interior lights ceiling light bulb
Operation: How to change the interior bulbs on 2018 Volkswagen Polo?

The author of the video explains how to replace the interior lights (or courtesy lights) of the 2018 Volkswagen Polo. First of all, you need to disassemble the ceiling light and this can be done by grabbing it and pulling it away with your fingers. Once the ceiling light has been extracted and moved away, we have free access to the central bulb. Grab it and unscrew it, then take the new bulb and insert it in its place. If we have chosen a halogen bulb, be careful not to touch it directly with your fingers but use gloves or clean it well after installing it. We do the same thing with the side bulbs and close the ceiling light. We continue, if necessary, with the replacement of the other courtesy lights present.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
