How to Install a Digital Speedometer on Volkswagen Golf 7

In this tutorial video, you will see how to replace the analogue speedometer with a digital one in the Volkswagen Golf 7. The first thing you need to do is open the slot located on the side near the door; once you have removed the cover, you will have access to the clips of the air vent. Simply push with your finger to pull out the vent, and use a small lever to pry it out. Once the air vent is removed, you need to take off the plastic cover around the climate control buttons by prying with the plastic lever. Remove the plastic below the analogue speedometer and unscrew the Torx screws. Once the screws are removed, gently pull the speedometer towards you with both hands. After removing the speedometer, you can replace it with the digital one.
