How to replace the number plate bulb on a Volkswagen Polo 5

If the number plate bulb on your Volkswagen Polo fifth generation (2009-2017) is no longer working and you want to replace it yourself, follow these simple steps. First, park your Polo safely on a flat surface and turn it off completely. Next, go to the outside area and pull the light outwards. Disconnect it from the electrical pin and connect the new light to the same pin. Finally, position it correctly and you are done. Just test its operation by starting the car.
