In this video tutorial, you can see how to replace the cabin filter on a Volkswagen Golf 3. First, get inside the vehicle, pull the handbrake, turn off the engine, and pull the bonnet release lever. To access the cabin filter box, lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod; remove the upper seal and take off the cover located under the windscreen on the left; now you are facing the filter box, so you need to remove the old filter. Position the new filter according to the arrows indicating the airflow direction. Reassemble all parts in reverse order.
