In this guide, you will learn how to replace the battery in your Volkswagen Golf Mk7 (2012-2019) independently and safely. First, turn off the vehicle and unlock the bonnet by pressing the appropriate button. Next, go outside and lift the bonnet to access the engine bay and the battery. Now, unscrew the bolts of the battery using a suitable spanner and disconnect both terminals. Finally, remove the old battery and insert the new one. Reconnect both terminals and re-tighten the previously removed bolts.
