How to Reset the Service Light on a Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

On the Volkswagen Polo, to reset the Service light, press the button located just below the instrument cluster on the central right side and turn the key to switch on the ignition. After performing these two actions, wait a few seconds while releasing the button, noting that the spanner light will still be on: then press the other button in the centre of the instrument cluster, and you will see that the Service light has disappeared from the display. At this point, you can completely switch off the instrument cluster after completing the operations.
