Volkswagen Transporter - Video tutorial
Model: Volkswagen Transporter
T4, MK 4
- Years 1990-2003 To ensure engine efficiency and keep consumption under control, it is recommended to replace the air filter of the Volkswagen T4 Transporter according to the maintenance schedule provided by the manufacturer, more often if driving on dusty or unpaved roads. We open the hood of the engine compartment and start by removing the large air intake located on the passenger side. We remove the electrical connector of the sensor and, using pliers, loosen the clamp and detach the outlet tube. We release the metal block and open the cover of the filter box, remove the old filter element and insert the new one, being careful that the rubber edge adheres to its seat. We close the cover, reconnect the tube and insert the sensor connector, and reposition the air intake.
