Guide to Removing the Door Panel

Model: Volkswagen Golf MK 5, Golf 5, Golf V - Years 2003-2008
Part: Door trim panel

Remove the entire handle panel containing the electric window controls and disconnect the connectors by pressing on the clips. Using a T-25 Torx screwdriver, unscrew the two fixing screws present. Replace the screwdriver with a T-20 and remove the screws around the perimeter of the panel.
Now carefully unclip the trim and perform the necessary maintenance.
Before closing the panel, it is advisable to check the integrity of the clips to avoid future unwanted vibrations while driving.

The video refers to the Volkswagen Golf MK5, but the procedure is common to all models.
