How to Reset the Inspection Light on the 2017 Volkswagen Polo

To reset the inspection light on the Volkswagen Polo, get in the vehicle, close all four doors, and turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Press and hold "set" until the screen displays the message indicating that an inspection and service is due. Turn off the ignition. Press and hold the "set" button, then turn the ignition back on. The screen will display: "reset oil change?" Release the "set" button. Press the button once more. At this point, the service has been successfully reset. If you want to check, turn off and then turn on the ignition to verify.
