How to reset the inspection light on a 2016 Volkswagen Polo?

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017

Start the reset operation of the inspection light on the 2016 Volkswagen Polo with the instrument cluster off. First, press the left button located at the bottom centre of the instrument cluster and, while holding it down, turn the key to switch on the cluster, but keep the engine off. A message on the display will ask if you want to reset the oil service. Confirm by pressing the button on the right, labelled "0.0/set", then switch off the cluster. Repeat all steps until the display asks if you want to reset the service light, which is the inspection light, and confirm in the same way as before.
