To reset the maintenance light on the 2012 Volkswagen Transporter T5, follow these steps: 1) with the instrument cluster still off, press and hold the "0.0/SET" button on the right side of the instrument cluster; 2) turn the key to the ON position; 3) release the button; 4) press the button on the left of the instrument cluster to display the mileage on the dashboard; 5) turn off the instrument cluster; 6) turn the cluster back on and start the engine to verify the success of the procedure with the maintenance light reset.
