How to Remove the Door Panel of the VW New Beetle

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

Removing the door panel is straightforward. Start by removing the outer cover of the central handle (secured by clips) to access the two screws underneath; once these larger screws are removed, move on to the three others located along the bottom edge of the panel, just below the storage pocket. After removing all the screws, disengage the clips along the edges of the panel and push it upwards to extract it from the window seal, moving it far enough to disconnect the connectors and the lock cable.
