How to Remove the Door Panel on VW New Beetle

Model: Volkswagen New Beetle MK 2, 9C - Years 1999-2012

Remove the right front door panel on the Volkswagen New Beetle: disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the screws located in the space of the upper door release lever and the screws present in the handle (after removing the plastic piece). Remove the covering plastic near the lock, unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel, and detach the retaining clips. Finally, pull the panel away with your hands and disengage it from the door (disconnect the power wiring and the release cable). Carry out the desired maintenance inside the door.
