Replacement of the battery of the Volkswagen New Beetle vehicle

Today we will see the steps that will allow us to disassemble and replace the battery of the Volkswagen New Beetle vehicle. First of all, we open the hood of the car and start removing the plastic cover located on the top and sides, unscrewing the fixing screws that we find on the sides; then we disconnect both battery terminals (positive and negative), as shown in the video. At this point, we remove the battery from its compartment, after unscrewing the bracket screw, and replace it with the new one; we install and connect the battery, of the correct type and having the same amperage.
