How to Remove the Door Panel on New Beetle

Let's carry out the removal of the door panel on a Volkswagen New Beetle (passenger side). First, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay before starting the disassembly. Use a trim removal tool to take off the handle cover; unscrew the screws located in the handle with a screwdriver. Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the retaining clips, disconnect the power connectors for the window switch. Finally, take the panel and pry it off the door. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
