To remove the door panel of the Volkswagen New Beetle, use a tool to pry off the trim of the armrest located in the centre of the door. Once this is removed, you can loosen the underlying screws and then pry off the clips below.

At this point, disconnect the connectors located underneath to completely detach the old panel; now you can connect the new panel, securing it with the appropriate clips.
