How to Replace the Timing Belt on the Volkswagen Passat?

The procedure for replacing the timing belt on the Volkswagen Passat involves opening the bonnet to access the components located within the engine bay: on the left side of the engine block, you will be able to locate the belt. Here, you can undo the central nut that secures the pulleys around which the belt is arranged: by reducing the tension, you will be able to completely remove it from its housing, after also removing the right front wheel and its wheel arch liner. After the replacement, you can refit the pulleys, ensuring everything is functioning correctly.
