Replacing the timing belt on a Volkswagen Passat involves opening the bonnet to access the components located within the engine bay: on the left side of the engine block, you will locate the belt. Here, you can unscrew the central nut that secures the pulleys around which the belt is arranged: by reducing the tension, you will be able to completely remove it from its housing, replacing it with a new spare part. After replacement, reassemble all removed parts and check their operation.
