Replacing one or more fuses is an extremely simple operation, and this process is the same for any type of vehicle. The first step is to locate the fuse box that contains the damaged fuse.

In this case, the fuse is located inside the box at the end of the left dashboard. The Volkswagen Golf mk5 has two fuse boxes.

Once you open the relevant box, use pliers to extract the blown fuse. After removing it, insert the new fuse using the pliers and then close the box.
