How to replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Polo?

To replace the timing belt on a Volkswagen Polo, loosen the screws securing the upper engine block cover and the left side cover. Under this side cover, you will find the belt around the designated pulleys. The belt can be accessed after removing some obstructive parts and can be removed by unscrewing the central nut of the tensioner roller, replacing it with a new spare part. Once installed, tension the belt and reinstall the engine panels and front wheel.
