Among the operations included in the periodic maintenance plan for the Volkswagen Lupo is also the replacement of the air filter. To carry it out, we place the car on a lifting platform and raise it in order to work underneath the engine. We position ourselves near the wheel, on the passenger side, where we will find the filter cover located just behind the bumper. Using a T30 Torx key, we unscrew the screws that hold it in place: to unscrew one of them, we will need to insert the screwdriver into a hole in the bumper. Once the cover is removed, we take out the old filter and replace it with a new one, paying attention to the correct installation. We close the cover, tighten it with its screws, and lower the lifting platform.
