How to Change the Air Filter on a Volkswagen Polo V

Let's see how to replace the air filter on a Volkswagen Polo V: open the bonnet, disconnect the PCV valve hose from the engine cover, then loosen the cross-head screws securing the air filter cover. Lift the cover. Remove the used filter from its housing. Cover the intake duct opening with a microfiber cloth to prevent dust or debris from falling into the engine. Clean the inside of the filter box and the cover with a dry cloth. Remove the cloth from the duct, insert the new filter, ensuring the edges seal perfectly in the housing. Replace the cover and tighten the cross-head screws without excessive force, then reconnect the PCV valve hose to the engine cover.
