How do you change the air filter on a Volkswagen Polo? Start by opening the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop rod. Remove the ventilation box (unscrew the securing screws underneath), take off the cover of the filter box, and extract the worn air filter. Insert the new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, tighten the screws and reattach the air box cover. Close the front bonnet after maintenance.
