Replacing the EGR Valve on the Volkswagen Polo 1.2 TDI

Model: Volkswagen Polo Polo 5, Polo V, MK 5, MK V, 6R - Years 2009-2017
Part: Valve

To remove the EGR valve, open the bonnet, locate the valve, and loosen the clamp securing the pipe on the right side. Remove the rubber hose above the valve and then detach the joint of the pipe located directly in front of the filter. Using an Allen key, unscrew the bolts securing the valve body to remove the throttle body. With the same Allen key, proceed to disassemble the remaining part of the valve. At this point, remove all sludge residues from inside the pipes and then reassemble the two components of the valve and their respective pipes.
