How to Dismantle the EGR Valve on Polo 1400 TDI

Model: Volkswagen Polo MK IV, Polo IV, Polo 4, MK 4, 9N - Years 2001-2009

Clean the EGR valve on a Volkswagen Polo. Lift the front bonnet, identify the parts to remove to access the EGR valve. Unscrew the locking bolts of the ventilation pipe, remove the engine soundproofing panel. Start dismantling the EGR valve's fastening bolts as shown in the video (if you encounter issues: lift the car with a jack and remove the part from underneath). Unscrew the bolts above the valve to perform the cleaning. Clean the valve using a suitable product for cleaning mechanical parts. Refit the valve in the engine bay once maintenance is complete.
