If the EGR is water-cooled, disconnect the two coolant hoses (we will need to prepare a container to collect the liquid that will come out). Unscrew the mounting bolts, and from the space we have created, we can now pull the valve out of its seat. Clean the mounting seat of the manifold from carbon residues and install the new valve, retracing all the previous steps.
