How to open the hood of the Volkswagen Polo

On the Volkswagen Polo, the hood opens in two steps. The video starts from the cabin: you go down towards the pedal area on the driver's side and pull the hood release lever located near the bottom, close to the pillar/side. By pulling the lever, the hood "unlocks" and remains slightly raised. At that point, you move to the front of the Volkswagen Polo, in front of the grille with the Volkswagen logo. With one hand, you slide under the edge of the hood to find the safety catch: the images clearly show the central hook and the motion to release it. Once unlocked, the hood can be lifted and opened, providing access to the engine compartment of the Volkswagen Polo.
