Model: Volkswagen Passat
3BG, B5
- Years 1996-2005 On the Volkswagen Passat, the reset of the Climatronic can be done by turning on the instrument panel, so that the controls on the central dashboard panel can be used. Once the instrument panel is turned on, you will need to simultaneously press the ECON button and the button with the icon of an arrow pointing towards the passenger's face. By doing this, you will notice that the climate temperature indicators will turn off; after waiting a few seconds, the previously set temperature will appear again on the indicators and the Climatronic will be reset.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow to reset the TPMS light of the Volkswagen Polo 2011The orange tire light indicates the presence of one or more tires with an inflation pressure below the recommended limit. All this is easily solved by inflating them correctly or replacing them in the event of a puncture. After carrying out these operations it is necessary to reset the warning light and therefore also the sensor in order to have new reading data. All you have to do is start the car ignition and then fully open the glove compartment on the passenger side. Locate the two buttons in the right corner and press "Set".
