How to Reset the Climatronic of the Volkswagen Passat?

To reset the Climatronic on the Volkswagen Passat, turn on the instrument cluster so you can use the controls located on the central dashboard panel. Once the cluster is powered on, press and hold the ECON button and the button with the icon of the arrow pointing towards the passenger's face simultaneously.

You will notice that the temperature indicators of the dual-zone climate will turn black; after a few seconds, the indicators will return to the previously set temperature and the Climatronic will be reset to its initial settings.
