How do you reset the Climatronic of the Volkswagen Passat?

On the Volkswagen Passat, the reset of the Climatronic is done by turning on the instrument panel, allowing the use of the controls located on the central dashboard panel. Once the instrument panel is turned on, you must simultaneously press the ECON button and the one with the icon of the arrow pointing towards the passenger's face. By doing so, you will notice that the dual-zone climate temperature indicators will turn black; after waiting a few seconds, the indicators will return to the previously set temperature and the Climatronic will be reset to the basic settings.
