How to reset the Climatronic in the Volkswagen Passat?

In the Volkswagen Passat, the Climatronic system may freeze or show various signs of malfunction. In these cases, try to resolve the issue by recalibrating the system. First, enter the cabin, then insert the key and turn on both the ignition and the air conditioning. Once done, press and hold the "AC" button along with the front air vent activation button until the system is fully operational. Wait for the procedure to complete and check that it has been successful.
