How to Remove the Front Headlamp from a Volkswagen Golf 5?

To remove the front headlamp from the Volkswagen Golf, use a tool to pry off the headlight washer and then remove the trim surrounding it. At this point, open the bonnet to access the screws securing the grille at the front of the engine bay, and remove it completely. This will allow you to loosen all the screws holding the headlamp assembly in place, sliding it out of its housing and disconnecting the connectors at the back. You can then insert the new headlamp, connecting and securing it.
