Reset the service light on the Volkswagen Golf 7

When it’s time to change the engine oil on the Volkswagen Golf 7, a warning appears on the instrument panel to remind you to perform the operation. After replacing the oil, you need to reset the notification system. While seated in the driver's seat, press and hold the button at the centre, at the bottom of the instrument panel marked "0.0", turn the key to the 'on' position and wait for the central display to show "reset the oil change interval?", release the button and press it briefly to confirm. Turn off the ignition and repeat the exact same procedure to reset the inspection light.
