Today's guide will show you how to deactivate the front passenger airbag on a Volkswagen Passat CC, as well as on most models from the Volkswagen group. The deactivation of the passenger airbag occurs automatically; if the seatbelt is not worn, the passenger airbag will already be deactivated (not recognising the presence of a child seat or a person on board). Additionally, when the airbag is deactivated, it is indicated by a warning light located on the lower part of the central instrument panel.
